Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Olia Zavozina Bridal (House of Zavozina, LLC, “we”) collects through oliazavozina.com and in our salon, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Appointment requests: your name, email, phone number, wedding date and preferred appointment times, and anything else you choose to tell us, such as your budget, venue, planner, the styles you like, how you heard about us, and notes.
• Alterations requests: your name, email, phone number, preferred date and time, and details of the garment and the work you need.
• Events and sign-ups: your name, email, and optionally your phone number and wedding date, when you sign up at a bridal show or one of our events.
• “Email this dress to a friend”: your name, your friend’s email address and your message. We use these to send that one email and don’t keep them.
• Emails you send us, and anything you share with us by phone or in person.

When you become a client

To design, order and fit your gown we keep your measurements, fitting photos, style notes, order details, the agreements you sign, and a record of your payments. We use photos or video of you for marketing only if you sign our release form.

Collected automatically

• Google Analytics records the pages you visit, your device and browser type, your approximate location and the site that referred you, using cookies. You can read how Google uses this data, and opt out with Google’s browser add-on.
• Our own visit counts record the page, the referring site and your device type. We don’t store your IP address or set a cookie for this.
• Embedded maps and videos from Google Maps and YouTube may set their own cookies when a page shows them.

How we use it

• To answer you, arrange and confirm your appointments, and keep in touch about your order.
• To design, make, alter and deliver your gown.
• To take payments and keep the accounting and tax records the law requires.
• To send you emails about the salon, trunk shows, events and offers (see below).
• To understand how the site is used and improve it, and to protect it from abuse.

Emails from us

If you request an appointment or alterations, sign up at an event, or join our mailing list, we may send you occasional emails about the salon. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and we honor it. You’ll still receive messages about appointments and orders you have with us.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• The services that run our business: Google (email, calendar, file storage, analytics and translation), Cloudflare (website security and file storage), our website hosting provider, our card payment processor, and our accounting software. They act on our behalf.
• The workshop that makes your gown, which receives your name as it appears on the order, your measurements and the details of your design. It never receives your contact details or what you paid.
• Anyone the law requires us to, or when it is needed to protect our rights, our clients or the public.

Payments

Card payments are processed by our payment processor. We don’t store your full card number.

How long we keep it

We keep order, payment and accounting records for as long as the law requires. We keep everything else for as long as it is useful for your order and our relationship with you, or until you ask us to delete it.

How we protect it

We use encrypted connections, limit what each member of staff can see to what their role needs, and work with providers that maintain strong security. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee that information will never be accessed without permission.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time with the link in any of them.
• Ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser, or use Google’s opt-out add-on above.

Children

Our site isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date. See also our Terms of Use.
